Training:
We have had extensive training for all our employees this winter with over 600 hours of training.
Plants:
Our green house is overflowing with beautiful flowers, vegetables and herbs. Our tree and shrub selection has grown during the winter. We have searched hard to find specimen trees and shrubs. The quality of our plants is the best it has ever been.

Café:
We have changed management of our Café. We have also changed the menu to include more soups, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. We have also added gourmet coffee including, Double fudge mocha latte, French vanilla Latte, Cappuccino, and fresh roasted coffee beans with Governors cup and Kenyan blends.

Organics:
An organic lawn care program works with nature, not against it. This gives the lawn just what it needs to be green and healthy and more resistant to diseases and pests. This program is also safer for children, pets, and our aquifers – therefore our drinking water. It also saves money in the long run, since it takes less fertilizer, pesticides, and fungicides overall.

Vegetable Gardens:
Now for the fun part – it’s planting time! Plant the tallest vegetables, herbs or flowers on the north side of the bed and the shortest on the south side. In addition, plan ahead for crop rotation. For example, members of the tomato family should not be planted in the same area for two years. This helps to prevent the buildup of diseases and pests common to a particular vegetable family. Therefore, it is best to plant all members of the same family in a block together and plant them in a different location for the next two years.
Insects:
We will have beautiful days this month. When the days start to warm insects and disease will start to spread. Aphids will soon be out in masses they love to feed on fresh new growth. Aphids are very small pear shaped insects that leave a sticky residue where they have been feeding. Call us to come out and treat your trees.
